Wind gusts in the city did not exceed 7 m/s, while at the airport they reached 14 m/s.

The downpour in Rize caused a landslide in the city center. Due to the landslide, the playground in front of a building became unusable. The soil at the bottom of the children's park belonging to Ceylan Saray Apartment located on Buhara Street of Fener Neighborhood was emptied with the collapse of the retaining walls. Due to the soil sliding to the construction site on the street just below, the newly laid parking lot was left in piles of rubble.
