Heavy rain continued throughout Tuesday in the Italian region of Liguria, with particularly heavy rains on the border with Tuscany. The rainfall has affected the speed of rivers and streams, so caution is required. Over 300mm of rain has fallen in Campo Ligure in the last 24 hours, including 272mm in the last six hours in the morning alone. The rains caused a significant rise in river levels, especially in the Orba and Stura rivers, where the peak passed without serious consequences.
